Upstate Orthopedics Ambulatory Surgery Center is a privately owned, outpatient surgery center focused on orthopedics and pain management. Opened in 2009 by surgeons of Upstate Orthopedics, our facility is fully equipped with four operating rooms and one procedure room. We are located on the third floor of the Upstate Bone and Joint Center, the only state-of-the-art specialty center for comprehensive orthopedic care in Central New York. The surgery center is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), licensed by the New York State Department of Health, and is CMS (Medicare) certified.  The facility is also a member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, as well as the New York State Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

The mission of Upstate Orthopedics Ambulatory Surgery Center is to provide compassionate, quality health care in response to the needs of the communities we serve.

In our Center, we will utilize the most advanced techniques supported by comprehensive quality education and current technology.

Our state-of-the-art environment is provided to enhance patient outcome and satisfaction, to maintain financial viability and to support all staff dedicated to this mission.

Upstate Orthopedics Ambulatory Surgery Center will continually strive to create an environment in which employees and physicians can develop their potential for work satisfaction and contribution to the organization and community.

The program commits to serve all patients from the central New York service area and surrounding communities including all underserved population groups including ethnic and racial minorities, women and handicapped persons. Persons are treated without regard to their financial status and are provided services with respect and dignity. Charity care will be provided to those unable to pay for services. Operating policies and procedures are developed and continually upgraded to reflect this commitment.
